JLL appoints new head of Capital Markets department in Romania

Bucharest, 10 March 2015 – JLL is very pleased to announce that Silviana Badea is to join on March 9th, 2015 as the new Head of Capital Markets in Romania to support its strong position, following a strict selection process. In her new role, Silviana will take over the rapidly growing business and will coordinate the 8 current exclusive sales mandates of JLL. She will continue to promote Romania as a target for investors, considering the latest record transactions signed last year and the increased interest coming from new players that plan to enter the market.

Badea joins JLL after 5 years as Country Manager for Valad in Romania, where she was responsible for their industrial and office assets, following 5 years in another consultancy company. She has accumulated 10 years’ experience in all sectors of the market, on investment and agency side, as well as extensive understanding and knowledge of the Asset Management challenges.

JLL’s EMEA Management Board member Richard Batten, who oversees the CEE region, said: “We are delighted that Silviana is joining as our new Head of Capital Markets in Romania, with a great track record in investment business and a wide field of international contacts.
