Recycling group Green Group to move its office in Bucharest to the sustainable One Tower building in Floreasca

One United Properties (BVB: ONE), the leading green developer of residential, mixed-use and office real estate in Romania, announces that Green Group recycling group, which includes eight companies operating in the recycling and waste management market in Romania and Eastern Europe, will relocate its office in Bucharest to the class A One Tower building, part of One Floreasca City multifunctional development, starting with May this year. Green Group was assisted by the real estate consulting company JLL Romania in identifying the most suitable space for this relocation and for negotiating the rental terms.

Green Group’s decision is part of a comprehensive sustainability strategy aimed at reducing the carbon footprint and consumption of natural resources at group level, as well as efficient waste management. The relocation will involve part of Green Group's top management, the entire Green Resources Management team, as well as employees from GreenTech, GreenFiber and GreenWEEE. Thus, they will benefit from modern and certified, comfortable and bright workspaces, with high-performance heating and ventilation systems, as well as spectacular views over the area. In addition, the community-cantered concept behind this real estate development provides access to restaurants, cafes and various services within the complex.

"The mission of GreenGroup is to capitalize on waste as a resource, through recycling and to contribute to the circular economy, putting the protection of the environment and the well-being of employees at the heart of all its actions. We are a sustainable group by the nature of our field of activity, as well as by the way we understand to respect the principles of sustainable development in all the decisions we make. And this positioning compels us to consider in the smallest details the aspects related to the efficiency of material resources and the ways to reduce the carbon footprint of the group", said Constantin Damov, President of GreenGroup.

"The decision to relocate the Bucharest office is in line with Green Group's vision of being the most sustainable recycling group and of contributing significantly to the implementation of the circular economy in the region. We chose One Tower building based on the multiple sustainability certifications, both in terms of environmental performance and in terms of safety measures for those who work there", said Șerban Stoica, Group Strategy & Transformation Director.

"As a real estate developer our concern is to provide high-performance workspaces, to prioritize energy efficiency and health criteria, and our LEED Platinum v4 and WELL Health-Safety certifications are to confirm this. One Tower office building successfully meets the sustainability requirements that a company like Green Group has in its DNA. We are glad that the Green Group team will join this modern and vibrant community", adds Mihai Păduroiu, CEO Office Division One United Properties.

"We are pleased that we were able to assist Green Group in its relocation of the Bucharest office and that we found a partner in One United Properties who shares our commitment to sustainability and sustainable development. We are very pleased to have identified the best solution for Green Group, a property that meets their specific and complex needs and fits their development strategy focused on reducing their carbon footprint and negative impact on the environment", declared Marius Șcuta, Head of Office Department & Tenant Representation JLL Romania.

One Tower building is the first office building in Romania to obtain the LEED v4 Platinum Building Design and Construction certification, the highest level required by this certification. This is completed by the WELL Health-Safety certification, which confirms the health and safety of tenants at work. Due to its excellent location in Floreasca district, One Tower offers quick access to Floreasca Park and the shops and restaurants in the area.
